As CNet's Brian Cooley says, BMW is "the first car company to embrace a factory-optional Internet connection."
As one correspondent noted to me, imagine if BMW owners could have their own branded internet radio station with format choices. BMW rocks, Jazz on BMW, BMW plays the classics.
When your brand is BMW you certainly don't need Clear Channel.
Not unless you want Ryan Seacrest, and Clear Channel is the only way to get him.
